HAPPY NEW YEAR!
…Well, that concludes 2011. For some reason, I’ve always had good luck with odd-numbered years. Perhaps I’m just being superstitious…or maybe it’s all in my mind. Anyway, the whole “it’s a new start” business is merely a product of our imagination. Nonetheless, it’s beneficial to think that we have a second to chance to “get it right”.
I went to my aunt’s house in the city. We sat around the television watching old episodes of the Twilight Zone and a Nicholas Cage movie. What’d you guys do?
I really haven’t thought of any New Years’ resolutions - well, none that i’d feel comfortable posting on Tumblr anyway. Let’s just say one of my resolutions is the same as the wish I made on 11/11/11 at 11:11. Oh god, please let it come true. “I shall keep asking you”. It’s a selfish wish, but the standard “world peace” wish doesn’t seem likely to come true…so, why waste the wish of the century on it?

This year, I’ll…
1. Post more YouTube videos.
2. Get those straight A’s. CERAMICS. ALGEBRA. PHYSICS. THEY’RE ALL ON MY BLACKLIST.
3. Be nicer to my parents. I’m a bonafide arsehole sometimes. My mom can be uptight sometimes (almost all the time actually), but I love her and I need to let her know that.
4. Write a book. (this has been on my list for years…)
At least I completed one of my resolutions from last year. I fell in love.
